Wish you had a club where you could meet up and learn and inspire and collaborate with other awesome women? Are you an entrepreneur, business owner, or just someone looking for fellow ladies in your career to network with? The Lady Project was first founded by Julie Sygiel (founder of Dear Kate underwear) and Sierra Barter in Providence for this purpose. They have since expanded to branches in Boston and New Haven and have just announced new branches in Nashua, New Hampshire and in New York City. TLP also just got federal recognition as a non profit organization!
From the organization’s website:
“The Lady Project connects, inspires and showcases awesome women doing amazing things through membership, events and community engagement. The Lady Project is a non-profit organization based in Providence, Rhode Island, where chapters in Providence, New Haven and Boston host monthly events where women can connect, get inspired and learn about what other awesome women are doing in their cities.”
Next Friday, Oct. 3, The Lady Project is hosting it’s NYC launch party at Projective Space LES from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with special speakers including Director of the documentary Dream, Girls Erin Bagwell, Tammy Tibbetts from She’s the First, and Michela Aramini of The Lovely It Girl.
