I was cruisin’ my bike along the always-sunnier Mission district of San Francisco and stopped by one of my all time fave local designer’s shop, DEMA! I love Dema’s amazing tailoring skills and eye for color, patterns and twist on timeless classics. I also love running into the bad ass, Dema at random places in SF, NY and Austin at some club, bar or show…. Miss Dema Grim does rock on with her frock on!! She even had a kick ass fashion show at the AMAZING, Dame Vivienne Westwood’s de Young Museum exhibit in SF last year. Punk rock grrrls meet fashion couture will never go out of fashion! I got a backstage pass this Memorial Day weekend and got to see Miss Dema workin’ her magic 2008.
For over a decade now, Dema has been a part of making the Mission district super-extra-cute!! Be sure to visit her shop and give her a major shout-out for being able to keep her indie boutique and fashion going for all these years.
