The BUST Christmas Craftacular London is next weekend! York Hall in Bethnal Green will be fill to the brim with the UK’s most talented designer-makers on November 22 – and we are thrilled that Andsmile Studio will be among them.
Andsmile Studio is the home of fun, quirky jewellery, prints and stationery – all based around the illustrations of Latvia-born and London-raised designer Viktorija Semionova, who has a thing for coffee and Wes Anderson films. She creates all her designs by hand using watercolour and gouache, before whipping out the digital tools.
We chatted to the brilliant and bubbly Viktorija about Christmas and BUST Craftacular…
Are you bringing anything special to the BUST Christmas Craftacular?
I’m bringing my new collection of pop culture designs, plus tried and tested favorite brooches and prints. All of them will be made with extra love and care just for the event!
What are you looking forward to most?
Meeting and catching up with customers, looking around at the handmade awesomeness and buying one or two presents myself.
What is inspiring you at the moment?
The beautiful autumn trees and still-warm, sunny days inspire me to draw and make all sorts of cozy, autumn goodies to wear and use in the darker and colder days to come.
Which of your products would you recommend as a gift for your best buddy?
The crossed pencils enamel pin (pictured above, £10). It’s a ticket to a secret society of stationery addicts and a very cool accessory.
Come meet Viktorija at the Bust Christmas Craftacular London on 22 November at York Hall, 5 Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green London E2 9PJ.
Entrance is £3 on the door, with free goodie bags for the first 100 shoppers. Click here for more info.
