This Saturday, my favorite noise punks, Parts and Labor are performing as part of a three band round robin with Aa and Pterodactyl! All three bands will be set up simultaenously, with the audience in the middle, as they trade off on songs. It’ll be epic, and you you will be there. I’m pretty stoked about seeing the new Parts and Labor lineup. They’ve recently added Sarah Lipstate on guitar and electronics!

Colored pieces of paper! Or painted pieces of poster board to be exact, (120 pieces in all, painted both sides with a different color on each side for a total of 240 panel options, 6 different colors). It took 34+ hours over a weekend, over 400 takes, with three cameras shooting continuously (and moved during different sections of the song) to achieve the camera angles. Makes me tired just thinking about it! But mostly impressed. Anyhow, it’ll be a rad show. See ya in front!
