Forced family photos have all the ingredients to create an awkward storm. For example, there is a famed photo of myself, age four, winking from a chair in a campsite. At least, I thought I was winking. Years later, I found out I had really been stung by a bee and my dad decided to immortalize the hilarity of me always looking like I’m winking in a family photo.
